Regardless of your past athletic experience or current fitness level, when you first comes to Compass CrossFit you’ll have the opportunity to start participating in regular classes. If you’re new to CrossFit we may encourage you to scale down. You will focus more on the mechanics, consistency and intensity in your workouts rather than worrying about the load.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. For beginners we might scale load and distance, but we don’t change the program.
We do NOT encourage you to do any other kind of training to prepare for CrossFit… Just come try it!
