Some of you may not know this, but Lubbock will be represented by Richard Bohlken from MaxOut CrossFIT in July at The CrossFit Games in Carson California!!!
He has worked really hard for this but it’s not a free ride… On top of paying to enter; he still has airfare, a week of hotel expenses in L.A., food, rental car, and etc, etc. Not to mention Rich is getting married this month! He’s just a normal hardworking guy like the rest of us (he works extra hard), and he could use our support! Zack Barnard over at MAXOUT has several things in motion in which we can help.
FIRST: You can stop by Blue Sky on 98th anytime tomorrow, Tuesday the 17th, and tell the cashier “Send Richard to Carson!” that a portion of your meal will go to his fund.
SECOND: There is also going to be another event similar to this very soon with two Cane’s locations. More details to come.
THIRD: Finally there will be a community workout tentatively planned for July 19th. They are trying to confirm a location at this time, but have the workout ready and plan on having participants donate $25 to the cause. This will include a “Bohlken” WOD t-shirt to commemorate the event. Hopefully there will be over 100 CrossFitters there!
