“Talon Tough” is an event held at CrossFit 1800 on February 18 in honor of Talon Thomas Perkins.
We are joining their CrossFit community how we can by doing their wod, sending our prayers and donating what we can.
There is no cost, but donations are an option if you are able and willing.

The CrossFit Warm-up (No Measure)
3 rounds of 10-15 reps of:
Samson Stretch (15-30 seconds)
Overhead Squat with PVC
Sit-ups
Back-extensions
Pull-ups
Dips
“Talon Tough” (Time)
Buy In: Row 2016 meters
*Every 500m- 29 Double-unders
Then,
33 rounds:
3 Burpee box jumps, 24/20-in.
2 power cleans, 185/115-lb.
3 push jerks, 185/115-lb.
Cash Out: Lunge 200m w/ 14-lb. med. ball
Talon Thomas Perkins was born prematurely at 33 weeks. He weighed 2.14 pounds and spent the first three months of his life in a hospital . He has undergone one open heart surgery, one cardiac catheterization and is scheduled to have another open heart surgery on to address his congenital heart defects. He was born with three holes in his heart and narrowing of his pulmonary vein.
Talon is a miracle and his family loves him dearly. Beth and Kyle Perkins are so thankful for God’s love and unwavering protection, along with the outpour of support from their family and friends.
