Anna is a member at CrossFit Lubbock, she has been diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA) and Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Propura (ITP). In very simplistic terms, this means her immune system is attacking and killing her cells. In a recent development (yesterday) she was accepted as a patient at MD Anderson in Houston. She needs financial assistance to pay for the treatments they plan to administer.
As a community, we have been blessed with the opportunity to help someone in need, in the spirit of the holiday season.
At CrossFit Lubbock this Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, we will sweat in her honor and for her benefit.
The workout will be simple and very beginner friendly (hint: that doesn’t mean it won’t be hard).
